Managing Styles, Presets and ProjectsThere are several way you can save your calendar designs and reuse them later. If you want to save your complete work including page size and orientation, calendar layout type, and formatting style, then you can save all the settings to Calendar Wizard 4.1 project file (.cwp) by using Save Project... button on the Project tab of the main dialog. This method also allows to transfer layout designs to another computers or to share them with other people. A saved design can easily be recovered by using Load Project... button. You can also save all the settings to the Preset list for quick access. In this case you don't have to specify a file name and the layout presets are readily available from the list box in the main dialog. To save the project to the preset list, just click the "+" button next to the Preset list and enter the preset name. To load a preset properties, just select it from the list. It is also possible to save formatting style only which includes fonts, colors, line styles and other properties of a layout. This does not save the layout type or page settings which makes it useful for designing calendar themes which can be applied to any layout. To save a calendar formatting style, define all the calendar properties and then click the "+" button next to Formatting Style list on the Project tab of the main dialog. Note that a formatting style contains properties of all possible calendar layouts such as Large Calendar, Small Calendar, Month Planner and Day Planner. So before creating a complete formatting style you might want to review all the layouts and make sure they appear correctly in the style you are creating. Once saved, a formatting style can be recalled by selecting it from the Formatting Style list. This will apply all the style properties to the current layout. Next: Working with Languages > |
