Automatic Catalog Page Creator Export to .PDF format

Would be nice to have an automatic catalog page created from importing .PLT files (or .EPS).

Header at top for title and catagory information.
8x8
8 rows across
8 columns down

Have each drawing load automatically with its respective file name below.
Keeping it's height & width proportionate.

Have page numbers increment at the bottom.

As page is created have it automatically be saved to a .PDF file format.

It would be quite nifty!

At the current time we are doing this a "dinosaur" way with a CAD program.
It would be great to "step up" to something more "state of the art"!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
